One Pot Italian Cooking
Nobody likes washing up lots of dishes and everybody loves Italian food, so One Pot Italian Cooking should appeal to many.

Written by Massimo Capra, who stars in a self-explanatory Canadian Food Network TV show called Restaurant Makeovers, the book covers everything from soups and salads to rice and pasta to all manners of meat and sweets.

The idea is that everything is cooked in one pot, though some of the recipes require more than one pot, pan or bowl, which makes the title somewhat misleading.

However, the recipes themselves, which hail mostly from northern Italy, are more interesting than the cover of the book might suggest.

Dishes like chestnut polenta, rabbit in apricot sauce and chocolate risotto sound intriguing enough to try, and while they might use strictly more than one pot, they still won't require very much washing up. And that's always a good thing.
